Lynzee’s Summer Wedding

Lynzee got married up north in Ogden, UT this summer. She was an absolute delight to work with and the process was a lesson in color choices for this lovely bride. {If your also a fan of UBB then you have read about her color change, as this wedding was a flower Friday feature. visit that post here.} I rarely work with brides that far north of where I am centrally located. I found Ogden to be quiet quaint and enjoyed the venue a great deal. Lynzee went from green . white . and black with a modern spin, to a vintage, lacy, romantic feel that included several tones of pink . ivory . and champagne. With natural green accents! And only the black that comes with traditional tuxes.

Her bouquet was created out of varying tones of English garden spray roses, astilbe, ranucs, roses, and freesia. We wrapped this delightful posy in an ivory swiss satin ribbon with a lace dress detail gifted from Lynzee’s grandmother and a brooch of her choosing.

I especially like the English spray rose corsages based on pearls that the mothers adorned. The bouts varied but were mostly created out of freesia or spray roses. With a little accent in astilbe or ladies mantle.

We created two different centerpieces for her reception. OneĀ  tall classic glass cylinder cuffed in vintage lace at the base and adorned with a full supply of pink and white tulips fountain-ing out the lip. The other a short classic wider cylinder glass vase with a full vintage lace wrap and a full garden arrangement of green hydrangeas, roses, tulips, and astilbe.
